I love music. I grew up playing in High School Band, Choir, had my own garage band, and constantly surrounded myself with music. I attended many School and Church Dances and loved the atmosphere at these events.

I started my DJ career when I was 24 years old in Oakland, California.

I had the opportunity to perform in a large production play that consisted of many actors, dancers, singers, and orchestra members. On the weekends they needed a DJ to play for the youth dances. I had a friend who was a DJ. He let me use his equipment to perform at these events.

"I fell in love with entertaining crowds and started to look for other opportunities."

I went on to work for a company in California called ABC Disc Jockey performing at Wedding Receptions, Birthday Parties, and Military Banquets. At the end of that summer, I committed to starting my own DJ Company. In 1992 I created DJ Daves Mobile Disc Jockey Entertainment providing service in Pocatello, Idaho. After graduating from Idaho State University, I moved to Boise in 1995 and continued this wonderful journey of being a Mobile DJ/MC.
